East SideUpper Green Side Officer Elections
At last night’s monthly Upper Green Side meeting, we had our first-ever officer elections to help us organize better and assign roles and responsibilities.
Founder Glenn McAnanama, a resident of Yorkville, who lead the Upper Green Side’s initial successful effort to bring greenmarkets to the Upper East Side, was elected President.
Sarah Gallager, a resident of the East Sixties as well as a trained urban forester was elected as a Vice President.
Also elected as Vice President Adam Piontek, a resident of the East eighties, who has lead our Green Restaurant campaign.
Alex Dorival, an Upper East Side resident who has great bookkeeping experience with another non-profit was elected Treasurer.
Lauren Loizides, an environmental science teacher from the East Seventies was elected Secretary.
All were elected by unanimous vote. Congratulations to the newly elected Upper Green Side officers!
